Below is an outline of the common lenses thicknesses and how they relate to prescription strengthes.
CR-39® Lenses - VALUE PACKAGE
Our standard CR-39® 1.50 index lenses are included in our Value Package and provide excellent optical quality.
They are ideal durable lens for everyday purposes.
Recommended for prescriptions with Sphere (SPH) values in the range -2.00 to +2.00
For stronger prescriptions we recommend you upgrade to a thinner lens.
Compatible with rimless frames.
All our lens packages come with Anti-Scratch, Anti-Glare and UV protective coatings as standard.
Polycarbonate 1.59 Index Lenses - SPORTS PACKAGE
Our Polycarbonate 1.59 Index lenses are included in our Sports Package and are highly impact resistant.
They are ideal for sports enthusiasts and active people, as well as for children's glasses, and they also block 100% of harmful UV rays.
Recommended for prescriptions with Sphere (SPH) values in the range -4.00 to +2.00
Ideal for sporting and outdoor activities.
Recommended for rimless frames.

Blue Light Blocking Lenses - BLUE BLOCK PACKAGE
Our Blue Light CR-39® lenses block harmful blue light and protect your eyes.
Blue light radiation from light sources or screens can be tiring on the eyes.
Our Blue Light CR-39® lenses block harmful blue light and protect your eyes.They are included in our Blue Block Package.
Recommended for prescriptions with Sphere (SPH) values in the range -4.00 to +2.00

Super Thin 1.61 Index Lenses - POPULAR PACKAGE
Our “Super Thin" 1.61 Index lenses are included in our Popular Package and are up to 20% lighterand thinner than standard 1.50 index lenses.
They are recommended for those with moderate to high prescriptions who would like a lighter and thinner lens.
Recommended for prescriptions with Sphere (SPH) values in the range -6.00 to +4.00
For stronger prescriptions we recommend you upgrade to a thinner lens.
All our lenses come with Anti-Scratch, Anti-Glare and UV protective coatings as standard.
Ultra Thin 1.67 Index Lenses - GOLD PACKAGE
Our “Ultra Thin" 1.67 Index Aspheric lenses are are included in our Gold Package and are up to 30% thinner than standard 1.50 index lenses.
They are ideal for those with high prescriptions.
Recommended for prescriptions with Sphere (SPH) values above +/- 4.25
For prescriptions stronger than +4.00 we recommend 1.67 or 1.74 lenses since the aspheric design reduces the "owl eyes" magnification effect associated with thicker lenses.

As Thin as Possible 1.74 Index Lenses - PLATINUM PACKAGE
Our “As thin as possible" 1.74 Index Aspheric lenses are the thinnest, lightest lenses on the optical market today and are up to 35% thinnerthan standard 1.50 index lenses.
They are ideal for those with high prescriptions.
Recommended for prescriptions with Sphere (SPH) values above +/- 4.25
For prescriptions stronger than +4.00 we always recommend 1.67 or 1.74 lenses since the aspheric design reduces the "owl eyes" magnification effect associated with thicker lenses.

Super-Hydrophobic Waterproof coating
You can add an extra Super-Hydrophobic waterproof coating to any package.
They also help to stop your lenses getting greasy smudges, keepin them cleaner.
