Choosing The Right Sunglass Lenses
If you buy non-prescription sunglasses then uv-protected lenses are already included as standard. However, if you buy prescription eyeglasses you can transform your eyeglasses into sunglasses by clicking on EXTRAS as part of the Order process. If you're happy with normal eyeglasses you can simply skip this step and complete your purchase.
No Tint - Clear Lenses
This is the standard clear lenses in eyeglasses with no sunglasses lens option applied. All our clear lenses come with multi-coating protection included.
All of our tints come in several colours and in different percentages of tint strength - 20% , 40% , 60%, 80%. The 80% darker tint is recommended for the traditional sunglass look. Tintt are available in Grey , Brown , Green , Purple and Blue.
Photochromic lenses are suitable for both indoor and outdoor use while blocking 100% of UVA and UVB radiation. The lenses lighten indoors so they appear as normal eyeglasses indoor while outdoors they remain as sunglasses. They are not suitable for driving as the windscreen blocks the UV light that changes the darkness of the lens.
Photochromic lenses are available in Grey and Brown.
Polarized lenses soften the effect of sunlight but, in addition, they protect the wear from glare. Polarized lenses also enhance colour perception and contrast whilst blocking 100% of UVA and UVB radiation. They are ideal for all daytime activity such as driving, sports, etc. however they are not suitable for driving at night.
Polarized lenses are available in Grey and Blue.
